By the term 'Diaspora' we understand a group of people or community who have left their homeland and settled in other parts of the world. It is either because they were forced to leave their country or they willingly left. There are so many reasons behind the diaspora. Force, conflict, colonization, globalization, religion, corruption, poverty, personal interest, desire for standard living, war, natural calamities, transportation of labors are the major reasons of diaspora nowadays. In the history of mankind, jews people are recognized as the first diaspora people. Aryans are the second diaspora they settled in the Indian subcontinent around a thousand years ago coming from central Europe. In recent times, Rohingyas are taking shelter in Bangladesh coming from Arakan, Myanmar. It is a very recent example of diaspora and the main reason for this diaspora is religion. There has been massive diaspora in Africa too, over the centuries, because of war and the ravages of nature. Though the world has seen many diasporas scholars have been studying the phenomenon only in recent decades. Although a developed host country can provide shelter for the diaspora people it is a burden for an underdeveloped or developing host country.
