Rice is a kind of food. It is our main food. We get it from paddy. A Rice plant is a grassy plant. It grows well in a hot and moist climate. It grows well in Bangladesh. There are mainly four kinds of rice. e.g. Aus, Aman, Boro, and IRRI. The rice plant grows three or four feet high. Paddy ripens in three or four months. Amon is the best rice. Aush and Boro are coarse rice. When paddy is boiled, dried, and husked, we get boiled rice. The rice eats fine rice. Chira, muri, Khai and various, kinds of cakes are made from rice.
